LITERATURE REVIEW:
• Problem solving is necessary skill in both daily living and in Mathematics. It’s
a practice skill also where learners can acquire problem solving skills
through imitating and observing the way other people do. (Polya, 1973 and
Alvi and Nushen, 2019)
• The analysis of word problems in translating them into figures is one of the
difficulties experienced especially the Grade 7 students of Hunob National
High School. This may be the possible gig hindrance in understanding when
it comes to translating sentences into symbolic language.
• Thus, with limited knowledge they will definitely experience difficulties ion
learning the subject (Mayer, 1989 and Yared, 2003)
