TYPES

SENTENCE:
• A sentence is a group of words which makes complete sense.
• Example:
Ali is going to school.
He plays cricket.
Types of sentence:
Declarative Sentence
Imperative sentence
Interrogative sentence
Exclamatory Sentence
Declarative Sentence:
• A sentence that is a statement gives us a complete
thought and always end whit a full stope is called
declarative sentence.
Example:
• The students are playing basketball.
• The sun rises in the east.
Imperative sentence:
• A sentence that gives command and sometime request and it has no
subject.
EXAMPLE:
• Please open the door.
• Finish home work.
Interrogative sentence:
• A statement that ask questions and ends whit a question mark is
called Interrogative sentence.
• EXAMPLE:
• Do you know that man?
• Have you done your work?

Exclamatory Sentence:
A sentence that shows strong feeling and ends with exclamation
point(!) is called exclamatory sentence.
• EXAMPLE:
• Oh! My God.
• Forgive me, Mother!
