AT THE FRUIT

STALL
CONVERSATION
My mom wants to make fruit salad for our dessert
today. There are many fruits at the fruit stall.

Seller : Hi, May I help you?

Mom : I'm just looking for some fresh fruits for dessert this afternoon.
Seller : Well, I have some fresh mangoes that were just picked this morning, some bunch
of grapes, and apples. Would you like some of them?
Mom : Those look wonderful. I'll take a kilo for each fruit, please.
Seller : Here you go. Anything else?
Mom : Do you have watermelon? My kids really love it I got it from you last week.
Seller : I have more watermelons if you want, but I also have strawberries. They are
perfectly sweet and delicious.
Mom : I would love some. I'll take a watermelon and 1 pack of strawberries.
Seller : Ok. That will be Rp150.000.
Mom : Here you go.
Seller : Thank you.

Short
Story
At Fadly’s Fruit Stall
On Sunday I follow my parents to the hospital to visit my uncle who is
sick. Before we go to the hospital we visit Cinde Market, we are going to
buy some fruit. At the Cinde Market, my mother has a favorite fruit stall
there that sells various kinds of fruits. The name of the stall is Fadly’s fruit
stall. Fadly’s fruit stall is the largest and most complete one in the market.

The stall has watermelon, orange, apple, snake fruit, etc. Not only fruit.
The stall also sells juice, pudding, salad, snacks, and fruit hampers. The
price is affordable and it is also very clean. If my mother and I visit Fadly’s
fruit stall we will never find any rotten fruits.
