What is Stress?

Stress is your body's


response to anything that
requires attention or
action.
Stressors
A stressors is a situation or
event that causes us to feel
stressed.
Common Stressor

Common stressor are the


things that make a person
“stressed”.
Most teens experience
more stress when they
perceived the situation as
dangerous, difficult or
painful.
Some sources common
stressors includes:

Family, School,
Community, and Peers
Aside from common
stressors, there are death,
loss, and grief which is also
affect everyone regardless
of race, gender or age.
Death
It is part of one’s life. It
refers to the end of the
physical being of a person.
Causes of Death

Loss
It is occurs when
someone dies, or life
situations changes or
ends.
Grief
It is an emotional suffering,
it is a feeling of extreme
sadness. It is normal,
natural, and healthy
response to loss.
Grieving is important and
healthy to one’s well being.
