as the Ivory Arch, is a unique and iconic
structure located on Jalan Kaliurang, one of
the main roads in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

YOGYAKARTA
Tugu Yogyakarta is a historic monument located in the
city of Yogyakarta, in the province of Yogyakarta Special
Region, Indonesia. The monument is known as a
landmark of Yogyakarta and holds significant symbolic
meaning for the local community.

The monument was built in 1755 by Sultan


Hamengkubuwono I as a symbol of victory over the
Dutch VOC forces who attempted to capture the
Yogyakarta kingdom.

In 1889, Tugu Yogyakarta was moved to its current


location on Malioboro Street.
PANGGUNG
KRAPYAK
Panggung Krapyak is a historical building
located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with an
interesting backstory. It is said that Krapyak
was once a forest inhabited by many
animals, including deer or "menjangan" in
Indonesian language.

The Panggung Krapyak structure was built


around 1760 by Sri Sultan HB I,
who shared Prabu Hanyokrowati's passion
for hunting.
