Individual Sports
The student can engage in the sport without the
direct need of a counter player

Dual Sports
Are sports that needs two players or side
Athletics
Is composes of sports involving walking, running,
jumping, and throwing. It is actually a group of sports,
or events, divided mainly known as “track and field”
Badminton
Is a sport very like tennis and is played
using rackets specific for that sport. A
shuttlecock or a feathered cork acts as a
missle that is rallied back and forth over a
high net.
Table Tennis
Sometimes called “ping pong”, is
played on a table with a net at the
middle, volleying a light ball using
rackets or paddles. On the receiving
end, the player must allow a
bounce off his or her side of the
table before returning the ball.
Tennis
Tennis has been made the
reference of other sports such as
table tennis and badminton
because of its popularity. This
sports can be played in singles,
doubles, or mixed doubles.
The basic strokes in tennis are:
the serve; the forehand drive; the
backhand drive.
Arnis
Arnis is the Philippine indigenous
martial art, most popularly known
as stick-fighting. Rattan sticks are
used for practice, but the martial art
is complete system of armed and
unarmed combat. Arnis basically has
three popular modes: solo baston,
doble baston, espada y daga.
Sepak Takraw
Sepak takraw is a sport played by
two opposing teams divided by a
net. A rattan ball is volleyed back
and forth, with each team returning
the ball using various kicks or
heading.
Swimming
Swimming is a form of sport and
recreation as well. It is a universal
activity in that most, if not all,
countries have local swimmers. The
types of swimming strokes are: the
breast stroke, the freestyle, tge
crawl, tge sidestroke, the
backstroke, and the dog paddle.
Laro ng Lahi
Laro ng lahi is collective term that
refers to traditional or indigenous
games of the Philippines. Some of
the game are: patintero, palo sebo,
pityaw, luksong tinik, luksong lubid,
and piko.
