The poem reflects on the passing of a school year from spring through winter. It describes experiences in each season, from blooming blossoms in spring to snow in winter. It notes both hardships and growth over the year, helped by supportive teachers and the value of friendship.

A year passed by We have to say good-bye We loved all our friends, And wish we had more time to spend
In spring, we saw the blooming blossoms,
All the time I spent with you was awesome We were nervous and awkward But managed to go on forward In summer it was scorching hot, But together we feared not As our friends’ smiles cooled us down And our friendship was valuable as a crown.
In the fall the new semester came with falling leaves
As the perfect fall view was like a dream A new teacher and a new start, And we turned more mature and smart. In winter it starts to snow We all wish time was a lot more slow We all have our Christmas hopes And hold on to each other like a rope
There was hardship,
But we overcame with friendship We had difficulties very severe, But managed to grow until here Some left, and some stayed But the gone ones do not know what they paid If they stayed it would have been joyful But they left and made themselves sorrowful
We await 5th grade,
We all have hopes to get a better grade We have all grown And all will never try to groan The teachers were all awesome, They led us to the sky from the bottom Both of my teachers helped me, And will help others like they did to me
Mr. Dan was strict, but good
He made the best mood His tests were brain-burning, And made our thinking wheels turning Ms. Madison’s smile lights up the class, Her voice is beautiful, like jazz, Her activities were like stress-reducing medicine We will always remember the name “Madison”
Our classes are magical
Smiling in PEAI is just typical We can express creativity like a free bird, And we grow fast as a wing of a hummingbird
