fuse

• Actor Alyssa Milano supported the


hashtag #MeToo on her social media,
thinking it as a simple way to raise
awareness and build a community of
survivors. But she had no idea how
groundbreaking his tweet would be.
• In 2017, The New York Times published an article accusing Harvey
Weinstein of sexual harassment. Actors Ashley Judd and Rose
McGowan bravely and fearlessly exposed Weinstein's actions, which
prompted many to share their stories.
• It reminded survivors that they were not
alone.
• It created a stronger community where the
survivors had a say.
