DISOBEDIENCE
TO GOD
 John 10:27-28

THE DANGER OF My sheep listen to my voice; I

DISOBEDIENCE know them, and they follow me. I
give them eternal life, and they
will not perish. No one can snatch
them away from me

14 The Lord said, “If you will not obey

THE DANGER OF my commands, you will be punished.
DISOBEDIENCE 15 If you refuse to obey my laws and
commands and break the covenant I
have made with you,

16 I will punish you. I will bring disaster on
THE DANGER OF you—incurable diseases and fevers that
will make you blind and cause your life to
DISOBEDIENCE waste away. You will plant your crops, but
it will do you no good, because your
enemies will conquer you and eat what
you have grown. 17 I will turn against you,
so that you will be defeated, and those
who hate you will rule over you; you will
be so terrified that you will run when no
one is chasing you.

DISOBEDIENCE
believed and obeyed
GOD.

DISOBEDIENCE believe in JESUS
CHRIST and follow his
teachings.

THE DANGER OF - are people who
DISOBEDIENCE
does not delay
obedience to God’s
word.
 CHRISTIANS

THE DANGER OF are people who does not
DISOBEDIENCE only know the teachings
about God, but who
know & have intimate
relationship with God.
 CHRISTIANS
THE DANGER OF - are people who share
DISOBEDIENCE their faith to others
publicly and does not
deny their faith.
 CHRISTIANS
THE DANGER OF
- are people of God who
DISOBEDIENCE help in establishing
God’s kingdom on earth.

THE DANGER OF - are active people of

DISOBEDIENCE
GOD who share their
faith to others, who
confessed faith in
Christ and in unity
with the Church.

THE DANGER OF are People of GOD…
DISOBEDIENCE
Who does not go against
God’s command and
obeys what God tells
them to do.
 CHRISTIANS
THE DANGER OF are People of GOD…
DISOBEDIENCE
Who are not a shame of
JESUS CHRIST, rather
declares faith without
hesitation.
THE DANGER OF Revelation 16:15
DISOBEDIENCE Look, I come like a thief!
Blessed is the one who
stays awake and remains
clothed, so as not to go
naked and be shamefully
exposed.
 1 Thessalonians 5:4 But you, brethren, are not in
darkness, that the day would overtake you like a
thief;

DISOBEDIENCE
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a
thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a
roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense
heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

DISOBEDIENCE professing as Christians but in
reality are not. Otherwise, the
danger of being hot or cold will
bear tough consequences that
will eventfully lead us into
eternal damnation.

THE DANGER OF are People of GOD…
- THERE IS NEVER JUSTIFICATION TO
DISOBEDIENCE DISOBEY GOD.
- GOD IS GOD. HIS COMMANDS AND
WORDS ARE PERFECT.
- MORE THAN RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCE
OR ALL THE SACRIFICES GOD WANTS
FULL OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORDS.
- GOD EXPECTS TOTAL OBEDIENCE
(PARTIAL OBEDIENCE IS EQUIVALENT
TO DISOBEDIENCE.
 An unrepentant person knows that he
or she has sinned and refuses to ask
God for forgiveness or turn away from
THE DANGER OF the sin. The unrepentant show no
DISOBEDIENCE remorse for their wrongdoing and
don’t feel the need to change.
Unrepentance is the sin of willfully
remaining sinful.

 Repentance is a change of mind that results in a
change of action. Repentance leads to life (Acts
11:18), and it is a necessary part of salvation.
THE DANGER OF God commands everyone to repent and have
DISOBEDIENCE faith in Christ (Acts 2:38; 17:30; 20:21).
Unrepentance is therefore a serious sin with
dire consequences. The unrepentant live in a
state of disobedience to God, unheeding of His
gracious call. The unrepentant remain unsaved
until they turn from their sin and embrace
Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
 King Solomon, the wisest man who
ever lived, wrote, “Whoever remains
THE DANGER OF stiff-necked after many rebukes will
DISOBEDIENCE suddenly be destroyed—without
remedy” (Proverbs 29:1). To be stiff-
necked is to have a stubborn, obstinate
spirit that makes one unresponsive to
God’s guidance or correction. The stiff-
necked are, by definition, unrepentant.

DISOBEDIENCE
- are you really a Christian?
- are you actively a Christian?
- are you sharing your Christian Faith?
- are you Christian in Attitude and
Desire?
- Are you Christian that serve God?
- Are you Christian who fear the Lord?

Exodus 20:1-17
THE DANGER OF 1. I am the Lord your God, you shall have no
other gods before me
DISOBEDIENCE 2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image-
any likeness of anything above or earth
beneath, in the water under the earth, you
shall not bow to them nor serve them, For I the
Lord Im a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of
the fathers upon the children to the third and
fourth generations of those who hate me but
showing mercy to thousands, to those who love
Me and keep my commandments.
3. You shall take the name of the Lord your God in
vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless
who takes His name in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six
day you shall labor and do all your work, but the

DISOBEDIENCE 5. Honor your father and your mother, that your
days may be long upon the land which the Lord
your God is giving you. (Ephesians 6:1-3)
6. You shall not murder. (1 John 3:15)
7. You shall not make adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9.You shall not bear false witness against your
neighbor.
10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house.
You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his
male/female servant nor his ox, donkey nor
anything that is your neighbor’s.

Therefore put to death your members which are on

THE DANGER OF the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion (lust),
evil desire, and covetousness (envy/materialism),
DISOBEDIENCE which is idolatry.

1 Cor 6:9-10
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not
inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived.
Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor homosexuals, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor
abusive, nor cheaters will inherit the kingdom of
God. (Hebrews 10:26-27 if you wilfully commit sin…
no longer remains a sacrifice for sins…)

THE DANGER OF are People of GOD…
- THERE IS NEVER JUSTIFICATION TO

- GOD IS GOD. HIS COMMANDS AND

Psalms 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in
DISOBEDIENCE the way, who walk in the law of the Lord!

Psalms 119:9How can a young man

cleanse his way? By taking heed
according to Your Word.

Psalms 119:11 Your word I have hidden in

my heart, that I might sin not against you.

1 Peter 4:17
DISOBEDIENCE For the time has come for judgment to
begin at the house of God; and if it begins
us first, what will be the end of those
who do not obey the gospel of god?

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;
for whatever a man sows, that he will
also reap.
