DIRECTIONS

• Task: Choose one major airline company and explain why in the next 5 – 10
years it will continue to be a successful airline. Use at least 2 sources of infor-
mation.
• Length: 1-2 Pages Double Spaced; your paper should have an introduction.
Points will be deducted if the use of sources does not follow the lecture mate-
rial
INTRODUCTION

• Begin with a 2-3 general sentences about the airline, its history, and how it
has been dealing with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
• End your first paragraph with your thesis statement. You might want to come
up with THREE points that explain WHY you think the airline will CONTINUE to
be successful or SURVIVE the crisis.
BODY PARAGRAPH TWO

• Talk about the first sub-topic in your second paragraph. Begin with your topic
sentence, followed by an outside source.
• MAKE SURE you use quotation marks followed by the parenthetical citation.
• EXPLAIN the QUOTE and how it APPLIES to your paper. One idea might be to
use the term, IN OTHER WORDS…and then explain what it means.
THIRD BODY PARAGRAPH

• Same order and format as the previous paragraph

CONCLUSION/CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH
WORKS CITED

• You MUST have a works cited page

ASSESSMENT

• Your assignment must be FORMATTED correctly or you will lose points

• This means that you must INTRODUCE your outside source, CITE it correctly, and EX-
PLAIN it. Failure to do so will result in 25 points deducted.
• ANY Reference on Reference Page MUST have a corresponding parenthetical/in-text ci-
tation Failure to do so will result in 25 points deducted
• Non-Latin Script references MUST be transliterated and translated
• Your paper must be formatted (paragraph indents, double spacing, title, font) as usual.
• Assignment will also be checked for grammar
