OF
THE CASE
This is an action against defendants shipping
company, arrastre operator and broker-forwarder for
damages sustained by a shipment while in defendants'
custody, filed by the insurer-subrogee who paid the
consignee the value of such losses/damages.
On December 4, 1981, two fiber drums of riboflavin
were shipped from Yokohama, Japan under a bill of
lading. The shipment was insured under plaintiff's Marine
Insurance Policy.
