 Animation – the movement on the slide is used to attract and
stimulate the audience’s attention to specific content.
Custom Animation and Timing

 When using animation, you should also focus on timing.

 A slideshow with animations that are all over the place may
just confuse the audience.
 Hence, by balancing the frequency and timing of your
animation use, you can create more riveting slideshow.
Why do I have to spend time adding
animations to my slideshow presentation?
Why do I have to spend time adding
animations to my slideshow presentation?

 The answer to that is simply because animation is one of the

key factors in capturing your audience’s attention. Using
animations can add variety to what they are seeing and thus
entice them to pay attention to what is being presented rather
than just spacing out.
FOUR TYPES OF ANIMATION

1. ENTRANCE – an effect which controls how the object enters the

slide.
2. EMPHASIS – occurs while the object is on the slide and is usually
triggered by a mouse click.
3. EXIT – this effect controls how your object exits the slide.
4. MOTION PATHS – these are pre-determined paths created by the
user to emphasize and the object as it moves within the pre-
determined path.
EFFECT OPTIONS

Some of the effects will have options that you can change
according to your desire.
For example, with the wipe effect, you can choose what
direction the object comes from.
ANIMATION PANE

It allows you to view and manage all of the effects that are on
the current slide. You can also modify and reorder effects
directly from the animation pane which is specifically useful
when you have several effects.
Hyperlink
 sometimes referred to as just a link, is a reference
data that a reader can click to follow. This is a tool
that redirects you to a document or to a specific
element within the document.
 The text from which a hyperlink is linked from is
called the anchor text.
