ANALYSIS OF MAGAZINE

QUESTIONNAIRE (PHYSICAL)

By Hania
AGE

As you can see, most of our respondents

were between the age of 15 to 18, though
we did have other ages as well and so it
was somewhat representative.
GENDER

Most of our respondents were actually

women. This showed that more women
are interested in reading and consuming
magazines and were hence, our main
target audience
GRADE

Most of our respondents were A levels

student like us. Unfortunately, we had no
below O level respondents.

This meant that our magazine should cater

to what A level students i.e. teenagers
usually want.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU READ
MAGAZINES?

Most individuals only read magazines

every few months. This was important to
predict expected number of readers and
the demand of our product.
WHICH MAGAZINE HAVE YOU HEARD
OF?

Most of our target audience had had

primary exposure to Vogue magazines.
This was important to remember for when
we planned to gather inspiration
magazines i.e. to focus more on Vogue
magazines.
FIRST THING YOU NOTICE

This was important to know which

element to focus on the most. Most
individuals got attracted due to the feature
articles. Hence, this meant that our
priority should be perfecting those.
GENRE

This question was meant to act as a test

i.e. whether individuals would choose
social issue genres over more popular
ones like Beauty/Politics. As results
indicate, the choice actually resonated
more to 22 individuals than the other
popular choices.
SOCIAL ISSUES

This helped us know whether our

audience would want us to pursue a theme
focusing on social issues. As results
indicate, most individuals wanted so.
SOCIAL CHANGE

This question helped us gauge peoples

openness in being persuaded by
magazines and if they agreed with
magazines being an effective tool given
we wanted our magazine to trigger social
change.
