    Primary Research Evaluation

    This entry includes both my questionnaire and focus group evaluation, I incorporated them both into one entry because they both produced similar results. How old are you? This part of the questionnaire suggested that 15-16 year olds were more interested in the topic than other ages, which should suggest that we should select a target audience around that age range. What gender are you? This part of the survey stated that the majority of participants were male; meaning that we should perhaps focus on more crude comedy to that it can accommodate for the larger part our audience. What is your Favourite sub genre? This question stated that the general preferred genre was action and romantic comedy, so inevitably we have chosen to do a hybrid genre consisting of action and romance. What do you like about teen based comedies? What the majority of the participants suggested was that the liked the idea of teen stereotypes like jocks and nerds, they are seen as humorous as well as relatable to our target audience. This also relates to another question, the audience prefer to see teen stereotypes because they are easy to identify and relatable. There would have been more responses by the majority of the responses in the questionnaire were to inappropriate to be view on this evaluation.
