Summary of questionnaire results

As part of our primary research we conducted a questionnaire which is helping us establish a target audience. We interviewed the general public to see if they watch thriller movies and what they enjoyed about them. Underneath the results of our questionnaire are shown and analysed.

Gender Our target audience is aimed at both males and females, but our statistics show that males are more likely to watch Thriller movies. However as there isnt a significant change we have decided to stick with our original audience.

Age Before we done our questionnaire our original age group was between 15-24 and from our results we have seen that 22% of the people that we asked were between 15-24. So we agreed to stick to it. Although it was good to see how popular Thrillers are within other age groups, and that we could aim it at different age groups.

Genre Our thriller opening is a sub-genre we decided to have a crime/psychological thriller opening. We werent too sure about how popular those genres are, but from our questionnaire we saw that crime thrillers are probably the most popular as 28% of the people we asked stated that they enjoy crime thrillers the most. Psychological thriller were the second most popular out of 4 thriller that we had. As result we agreed on having Psychological and Crime thriller as our genres.

Statistics Age; Looking at the age brackets and it is evident from the data that Thrillers are most popular amongst people who are 35+

Parents; From the statistics we can see that most people who watch Thrillers arent parents, they dont have children. Class; C2 is more likely to go and watch a Thriller according to the statistics we have found.
