CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
Figure 1 shows the variables that affect the correlation between
critical thinking ability and problem solving attitude of ABM
students in PNHS-Main SY 2022-2023.

The first part shows the demographic profile of ABM students


namely gender and grade level.

The second part shows the factors that affect the academic
performance of ABM students namely critical thinking ability
and problem solving attitude.
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
The methods include:
(a)Using sampling techniques
- First, the researchers used stratified sampling technique to divide the number of
samples in ABM. After they divide the number of samples, they used quota sampling
to give questionnaires to the assigned numbers of students per section
(b) Data collection of the students
- The researchers collected the data of the students thru survey questionnaire that is
given to every section
(c) Giving survey questionnaires
- The researchers give one survey questionnaire to eight (8) students per section
(d) Analyzing the data using statistical tools
- The researchers will use various statistical tools to analyze the data gathered

At the end of the study, the researchers are expected to


know if there is a relationship between critical thinking
ability and problem solving attitude of ABM students in
PNHS-Main SY 2022-2023.
