Abstract

• GUN DETECTION USING AI & ML IMAGE PROCESSING (OPEN

CV)
• In this project we will be using ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AND MACHINE LEARNING (AI & ML)
• We will be using YOLO algorithm which uses neural network
to provide real-time object detection and used in many
applications like ex- traffic, people, parking meters and
animals
• And we will be using open cv which uses machine learning
which is useful in real-time operation.
• We use jupyter notebook for the compiling of the algorithm.

 Introduction
• Now a DAYS DUE TO TERRORIST ATTACKS & FOR KIDNAPPING WE CAN SEE THAT
A LOT OF GUNSHOT FIRING IS TAKING PLACE IN PUBLIC PLACES LIKE SCHOOLS,
PARKS AND HEAVY CROWDED PLACES, TOURIST PLACES ETC. AND DUE TO THIS,
WE CAN FIND A LOSS OF HUMAN LIFE AT A HUGE RATE. ACCORDING TO a
RECENT SURVEY Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation has revealed that
India ranked third in most firearm deaths in the world. India saw a staggering
26,500 gun-related deaths in the year 2016, as per the report.
•  1) Bullet fired during celebratory firing hits 12-year-old boy in the head
•  2) Indore: Bullet hits wife as man reloads rifle during celebrations
