labels or other documents and also all announcement made orally. Prohibited Advertisement •For procurement of miscarriage or prevention of conception in women. •For correction of menstrual disorder in women •For the maintenance or improvement of the capacity of human being. •For the diagnosis, prevention and cure of appendicitis, blindness, blood poisoning and cancer etc. •Direct and indirect advertisement which gave false impression regarding the real character of the drug make any fake claims Prohibited Advertisement Cont… •Signboards or notice display by registered medical practitioner on their premises indicating that treatment is undertaking for any specific disease or disorder. •Book or other materials dealing with any matter relating to the diseases. •Advertisement regarding drugs which are sent confidentially in the prescribed manner to registered medical practitioner. •Advertisement relating to drugs printed or published by the government or by any other agency, with the prior permission of the govt. •Leaflets or literature accompanying packing of drugs
or advertisement of a drugs in medical, Pharmaceutical, scientific and technical journal. •Price list or therapeutic indexes published by manufacturers, importers or distributors of drugs or medical literature distributed by medical representatives.
