and Emily Trein. The story of Halloween The story begins 3000 years ago, with the ancient Celts. Those people believed in gods and supernatural forces, related to nature. They used to celebrate a festival called “Samhain” during 3 days, starting in October 31st. In the festival, they celebrated the end of the summer and the celt new year (November 1st). The celts believed that in this samhain period the dead raised from the graves and possessed people’s bodies. So, here comes that idea of wear costumes: they used this method to protect themselves, trying to “disguise” among the dead and demons. Some of they used dark items, with the main purpose of protection. How works the Halloween event nowadays • In USAthe Halloween day is a really important event, and people usually make decorations all over the streets and their houses, and go outside wearing costumes of their favorite killers, monsters and best horror characters, knocking door to door and saying “Trick or Treat”, expectating to receive some candies. Creepypasta
It is a term created to define horror
stories or urban legends that are spread through the internet in forums and other social networks in a "viral" way, spreading quickly The Lavender Town Syndrome When the Pokemon Red and Green games were released for GameBoy in 1996 in Japan (and later modified for the US and others), there is a legend who says that the theme song for the village of Lavender Town, the pokemon graveyard, was ( ...maybe it is still) so frightening that it ended up driving hundreds of children and teenagers who played the game to commit suicide. This is all explained in a "scientific way". The binaural frequencies of the music in this version initially released in Japan (which later had the music modified to be released abroad), were too extreme for the ears and brains of children and teenagers (not yet developed) and that's the only reason they could hear a secret message in the song (which could be seen through the spectrogram of the song) that would lead them to suicide, "LEAVE NOW". *This is just a creepypasta, you can get more complete details by searching on it. The messages shown through the music's spectrogram were displayed by Unowns (a kind of alphabet of pokemons created only in 1999). There was also a ghost on the side. The original music (from Pokemon Green, not the modified ones for Red and Blue), is actually quite disturbing, and the questions about binaural frequencies are true. But the effects vary from person to person. Do you want to try it? Paranoia and panic may set in... It's at your own risk! -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMPW5n-vreo Most Famous creeppastas
