What is Corona Virus ?
In humans, a species known as SARS coronavirus (or Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus) or
SARS-CoV-2 causes a highly contagious respiratory disease that is characterized by symptoms of fever, 
cough, and muscle ache, often with progressive difficulty in breathing. The coronavirus genome consists of
a single strand of positive-sense RNA (ribonucleic acid).

1.AstraZeneca
The Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID‑19 vaccine, sold under the brand names Covishield and Vaxzevria among others, is a 
viral vector vaccine for prevention of COVID-19. Developed in the United Kingdom by Oxford University and British-Swedish company 
AstraZeneca, using as a vector the modified chimpanzee adenovirus ChAdOx1. The vaccine is given by intramuscular injection.. It uses a
chimpanzee adenovirus to carry spike proteins from the coronavirus into your body to create an immune response. The vaccine is given in

2. Sputnik V
Sputnik V or Gam-COVID-Vac is an adenovirus viral vector vaccine for COVID-19 developed by the 
Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology in Russia. It is the world's first registered combination vector vaccine for
the prevention of COVID-19, having been registered on 11 August 2020 by the Russian Ministry of Health. The Sputnik V is currently
registered and certified in 71 countries.Similar to other vaccines such as Pfizer, Sputnik V is administered in two doses, given 21 days
apart. According to results from 2021 clinical trials, Sputnik V is up to 91.8 percent Trusted Source effective in preventing COVID-19.

3. Pfizer- BioNTech
The Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, is an mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine developed by the German biotechnology
company BioNTech. The vaccine is given by intramuscular injection. It is composed of nucleoside-modified mRNA (modRNA)
encoding a mutated form of the full-length spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, which is encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles.
In December 2020, the United Kingdom was the first country to authorize its use on an emergency basis. The vaccine has
shown to have a high efficacy rate after a single dose, up to 95%

Covaxin
• The Covaxin vaccine was developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research
(ICMR) and India's National Institute of Virology. It is made using inactivated coronaviruses that are safe to be
injected into patients. The deadly virus is recognized by the immune system, which begins to make antibodies against
the coronavirus.Covaxin is given in two doses, four weeks apart. In March 2021, preliminary data from its 
phase III trial showed that the vaccine has an efficacy rate of 81%.
