Accessibility Features:

To find these accessibility features on your device, go to…
1. Settings application
2. Click on Accessibility
Spoken Content

The device will read aloud text to the user that is selected
(speak selection) or on the entire screen (speak screen).

To access this…

1. Click on Spoken Content


2. Turn on Speak Selection and/or Speak Screen
Spoken Content, cont.

To use Speak Selection, highlight any text and

click the speak option that pops up.

To use Speak Screen, swipe down from the top of your screen with two fingers. This will
pop up on your screen as it reads the content aloud.
Zoom

The Zoom feature will allow users to zoom in to see the screen at a larger scale.

To access this…

1. Click on Zoom
2. Turn on Zoom
3. Users will double tap with three fingers to access the Zoom feature on their
device
AssistiveTouch

AssistiveTouch will give users an easier access/shortcut to frequently used applications.


There are customizable options to create actions and gestures that will assist users in
touching their phone screen.

To access this…

1. Click Touch
2. Click AssistiveTouch
3. Turn on AssistiveTouch
4. Click on “Custom Actions”/“Custom Gestures” as needed
5. A small circle will appear on the screen
a. Clicking on this circle will bring up the menu pictured above.
Hearing Devices

This allows users to pair hearing aids and sound processors


to their device!

To access this…

1. Click on Hearing Devices


2. Turn on your hearing device or sound processor
3. Click the device to connect
a. Some devices may even be available to connect via Bluetooth!
Siri

Siri can be used to search, call, text, or access applications just from
speaking. Siri can be accessed by holding down the side button, or
by saying “Hey Siri!” Users have options to make Siri even more
accessible by customizing it’s features with pause times and spoken
responses.

To access more accessibility settings on Siri…

1. Click on Siri
2. Users can choose their preferred pause time
3. Users can choose to have Siri speak all responses
