CRANK SHAFT

CONTRUCTION

• The main journal bearings form the axis


of the crankshaft shaft. One end is
connected with the flywheel flange and
another end is connected with a pulley
shaft.

• Two counterweights are attached with the


help of a rod-bearing journal to form a
pair of counterweights. Each pair is
attached with the main bearing journal to
form a sequence of counterweights. The
rod bearing journals are also connected to
the piston connecting rod.
