 INTRODUCTION
• A Dispenser is a machine that dispenses items such as snacks, beverages,
consumer products to customers automatically, after the customer chooses the
specific product and required quantity of their choice.

• There are various kinds of dispenser and vending machine, so during the
pandemic period, we have planned to design a medicine dispenser for corona
patients keeping social distancing in mind.

• Our aim is to construct an automated medicine dispenser prototype model,

which can be installed in hospitals and pharmacies to dispense medicines
to elderly patients, blind people, corona patients and many more.

 OBJECTIVES
• The objective of our project to provide medication to the aged in time. Automatic
medication dispenser is designed specifically for users who take medications
without close professional supervision.

•  It relieves the user of the error-prone tasks of administering wrong medicine at
wrong time.  The user is required to press a button to get the pill. 

• The major objective is to keep the device simple and cost efficient. The software
used is reliable and stable. Elderly population can benefit from this device as it
avoids expensive in-home medical care.

 PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Caring of the aged is of a serious concern in the developing countries. 

• Family members are responsible for the care and management of the old. 

• In the modern age it is difficult for family members to be available all the time
to support the aged.

• Adding water bottles and indicating water level

• Set expiry Date of the medicine
• Set for any age people at any time
• Easily carriable(portable)

• Make a call after 3 minutes.
• Stress relief activities.

 EXPECTED OUTCOME

• The expected outcome of our project is achieved as per the user’s

requirements in the form of medicines dispensed by the machine. It
becomes easier for people to obtain medicines from vending
machines . 

• From this concept are conclude that, the automatic medicine vending
machine is technically feasible to the peoples.It gives availability of
medicines all the time, also in rural areas. it is very helpful .
