COURSE PRESENTATION COURSE OBJECTIVES Students should be able to: -understand and frame CSR policies and strategies in business organizations, -and to play with the different CSR concepts -as well as to connect them together. COURSE CONTENT -Corporate Social Responsibility -Corporate Governance -Environmental sustainability -Stakeholders COURSE ORGANIZATION 12 HOURS OF LECTURES (full class) 4 x 3 hours starting today, January 28 12 HOURS OF TUTORIALS (lab sessions), starting next week Session 1: 3 hours Session 2: 3 hours Session 3: 3 hours Session 4: 3 hours LECTURES ▶Each lecture will include a quiz on the previous lecture topic ▶First quiz: Monday February 1 TUTORIALS - Recall of main teachings -Students organized in small groups, work on presentations delivered during the next tutorial session - Starting from tutorial 2, presentations about cases, by groups CASE STUDIES & PRESENTATIONS You will work on four case studies: -The Volkswagen Dieselgate -Nike CSR strategy -The Bhopal tragedy (video material) -IBM environmental strategy I will provide guiding questions for each case. All groups work on all cases, and I pick groups who present their work. COURSE EVALUATION Quiz tests: 50% Presentations: 50%
