skills and its do's and dont's.
What is a resume?

document that sums up a
job seeker's qualifications
for the jobs they're
interested in.

What Do I Include on a
Resume?
At a minimum, your resume should
include the following sections:
• Contact Information
• Objective or Summary of
Qualifications
• Work History
• Education

- Relevant and impressive
qualifications for the desired
position, presented at the top of
the page, directly under the

the truth along with the declaration, the statement
also includes the writer's name and the date.

DO'S AND DON'TS IN A
JOB INTERVIEW
Do's
- Resume is correct and updated with current
information
-Be honest in your answers and in your resume
-Dress appropriately and conservatively- to show
that you are serious.
-Be sure of the time and location of the interview
-Make sure to put your phone on a silent mode.

-Be there before 15 minutes of the
commencement of the interview.
-Be respectful and respected.
-Be sure you listen carefully to the interviewers’
name and pronunciation.
- Always refer to them by title such as Mr., Mrs.
and Dr.

-Avoid slouching in your seat

grammar and spelling.
-Do not make negative comments about your
previous employers or employment.
-Do not chew gum or smell like smoke – personal
appearance is very important.
-Do not be late or unprepared- if so, it shows that
you are uninterested

-Do not ask about the salary and benefits until


the concern is brought up.
-You can speak about salary on the second
meeting if not discussed in the first interview.

-Neck-tieshould be silk with a conservative pattern.


-Dark shoes (black lace-ups are best)
-Dark socks (black is best)
-Get a haircut; short hair always fares best in interviews.
-No beards / mustache
-No earrings
-No wearing of strong scented perfume.
-Be yourself!

-Always wear a suit with a jacket; not too sexy dresses


Shoes with conservative heels
-Conservative hosiery at or near skin color (and no runs!
- If you wear nail polish (not required), use clear or a
conservative color.

-One set of earrings only
-Avoid wearing strong scented perfumes.
