 Technical Requirement & Instructions are uploaded in student centre. It is
recommended to every student to go through said instructions and the Technical
Requirement.

 Examinations must be attempted and passed within the program registration validity
period – as applicable to program enrolled with the institute.

 Examination fees can be paid online or by Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of ‘The
Director, SCDL. The DD should be payable at Pune.

 It takes 1 to 2 working days to process the exam fees and the ‘Book Now’ link will be
activated of the subject for which examination fees have been paid by student.

 Students can appear for the examinations only for the current and or previous
semesters.

 This is Online Proctored Exam, student will have to go through with technical
requirements and exam rules and regulations for the appearing of exam.
 Type www.scdl.net in browser’s window.
 Click on ‘Student Login’ button.
 Enter your Log in ID & Password in the option Student Centre & click on ‘Submit’
button.
Click on ‘Next Page’.
 Click on ‘Examination ‘ tab.
 Upload Your recent photo & any government photo Id proof.
 Click on ‘Step2-Book Exam Slot’ link.
 Check the subject you wish to book examination and click on View Details’ link.
 Click on ‘Book Now’ link.
 Read Exam Instructions carefully. Check the checkbox ‘I agree with above terms and
conditions’ then click on ‘Next’ button.
 Type of Assessment will be displayed as Online Proctored
 Click on Next button
 Select Exam Date
 Click on Get Time Slot
 Select Exam Slot Start Time & Click on ‘Continue Booking’ Button.
 Check the check box ‘I agree with above booking details’.
 Click ‘Confirm Booking’ button.
A pop up window will be displayed for confirmation of exam booking.
Click on ‘OK’ button. Please note that student can not make any changes in
exam booking after the confirmation.
 Students can download the hall ticket immediately by clicking ‘Download Hall Ticket’
link.
 Download your Hall Ticket for Online Proctored Exam. This hall ticket student will have to download & keep
with him/her for future reference. For any query with respect to the exam, student should send an email to
eproctor@scdl.net alongwith the attachment of the Hall Ticket.

Webcam and Mic of your Desktop PC / Laptop should be Operational

 (.exe) file download and install process

 Once student click on provided URL, (.exe) file will start downloading automatically.

 Student will have to double click or open downloaded (.exe) file & Install the same on your
laptop/ desktop. After the installation file, safe browser shortcut will be created on your desktop
main screen. Student shall run the same in technical requirement check round.
 Online Proctored Exam Process

Students should ensure that the Basic Technical requirements are met, before
making the exam fee payment & booking of exam slot.

 URL to download (.exe) secure browser has been sent to you by email. Kindly
check your e-mail id, which is registered with SCDL. Student will have to
download, install & run this (.exe) secure browser file for appearing Online
Proctored exam.

 You can download the same from student login portal under the examination
tab - Online Proctored Exam
 Safe Browser base System Check
 System check will be automatically done by safe browser, If your system is not compatible
(Webcam and Mic is not enabled) for online proctored exam then student can not start the
exam and student will have to click on Close Software button.
 Student Information Page
 System check will be automatically done by safe browser, If your system compatible for online proctored exam
then you will get first login information page, student will have to enter the Activation Key (Which he already
received through SCDL email), Student registration number, Student name as per registered with SCDL
& Valid email id then tick mark on checkbox button & Login to start button.
 If Student entered wrong Activation key and Registration number, he/she will not be move to Exam login page.
 Student Exam Login Page
 System check will be automatically done by safe browser, If your system compatible for online
proctored exam then only student can start the exam and student will have to clicked on (Yes)
for Proctored Exam followed by enter the Student registration number, Activation key &
Proctor Password then click on Login button.
 Student Exam Registration Details
 Student need to verify his/her details and photo are correct then click on Continue button
 Examination Instructions
 Students should go through complete examination instruction page and then Click on Next
button, After Click on Next button exam will start.
 Exam Window
 On exam screen, student can see section wise Dashboard, Exam timer, Next, Previous, Clear
and can revisit the question, can revisit on instruction page options. After completion of exam,
student shall click on End button. After clicking on End Button, student should click on ‘Close
Exam Software’ button.
