IMPORTANT - It is mandatory to appear in the IMU-CET for getting admissions to UG/PG programmes of IMU.

Note 1. The candidate has to Login 30 minutes prior to the Exam start time. Please ensure that you login at 10:30 AM.
AUTHENTICATION:

Please go through the following 2 steps of verification processes at the login time:

Step 1: Click your photo seen on the screen and upload. (Use buttons on Screen)

Step 2: Show clear photo of your ID card in front of the Camera and click to upload. (Use buttons on screen)

After this you need to click on the button 'Start Verification'. An AI Authorizer / Proctor will connect to you for verification. As soon as the AI
Authorizer / Proctor finds everything is in order, then you will be allowed to enter the Exam Window.

Note 2. Please read the instructions given on the Page 2 of this Admit card carefully to understand the procedure of writing this Online examination.

Important Instructions:
This exam will be conducted on the ExamOnline Safe Browser (ESB).
The ESB works only on Laptop/Desktop.
You are required to download the ESB from the link given below.

Candidates who do not download and install the ESB will not be able to appear for the exam from any alternate link/device.

Demo Test Session:
• A Demo Test Session is available for all the Candidates to understand the Proctored Examination Process.
• Demo Test Session will be of 30 minutes duration, which is basically to give you a feel of the Proctored CET scenario.
• You can attempt the Demo Test only once on the same installed application “ExamOnline Safe Browser” with the above shared credentials only.
• On login, you can start the Demo Test which will be shown in the Exam dashboard.
• The Demo Test can be taken at any time, however it is suggested that you may take this Demo Test from 25/08/2021 to 27/08/2021(11
AM to 6 PM).
• There will not be any human proctor available for the Demo Test. However, it is to be noted that there will be human Proctors for the actual
Proctored CET to be held on 29th August 2021.
 Please read the following instructions carefully

1. Information on this e-Admit card is confidential and issued to an eligible examinee only.
2. The information on the e-Admit card is not to be shared with any one.
3. The details printed on this e-Admit card must be checked by the Candidate carefully. In case of any discrepancies, the Candidate is advised to contact IMU
HQ through Email cet21@imu.ac.in
4. Please take a clear and legible printout of the e-Admit card in A4 size paper for your reference.
5. Request for change in exam schedule will not be entertained.
6. Please keep a copy of Identity Card such as Aadhaar / Voter ID / Driving License / PAN / Passport.
Entry to online examination virtual venue will be permitted only against e-Admit card and Identity Card.
You will be required to click and upload the same for authentication after login.
7. Candidates are to ensure that this e-Admit card is not misused.
Any impersonation or misuse of e-Admit card will lead to rejection of the Student’s exam and also criminal case will be initiated.
8. Duration of the online examination is 120 Minutes.
Candidates must login through Exam URL as mentioned in e-Admit card 30 minutes before the commencement of examination for identity verification and
other entry formalities online.
9. There is Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. For un-attempted question, 0 marks will be awarded.
10. Use of the Mobile, Bluetooth, Head phone, Ear phone, physical calculators or any other electronic device other than the examination device is prohibited.
Warning will be issued to such Candidates for stopping examination. If the Candidate still continues, Proctors may End the Test for such Candidates and such
Candidates will be booked for Malpractice as per IMU rules. The answer files of such Candidates shall not be evaluated. No communication in this regard shall
be entertained.
11. Online Scientific calculator & online Rough sheet will be available to use in the Exam screen only.
12. Candidates are not allowed to use pen and paper during examinations.
13. Candidate should sit in a silent environment in an isolated room with proper lighting (preferably in front, not in back side) and a wall as the background.
14. The option of “MARK FOR REVIEW” which is available in the portal is to be ignored as it will not be having any effect.
15. Candidates should not move out of camera range and will not be allowed for bio-break (usage of toilet, moving out for drinking of water etc.) during
examinations. Other than the Candidate, no one else should be present in the room.
If a Candidate completes the examinations before the deadline, he will be permitted to finish the exam by clicking “Submit” button only after 12:50 PM.

CAUTION:

1. Candidates must note that though the exam is being taken at their place of stay yet their conduct during examination will be proctored continuously
using Artificial Intelligence and Remote Human Proctor
2. Student’s real time video and audio feed is being transmitted to the Proctor in real time for invigilation and recorded for future reference.
3. Candidate should note that examination authority have zero tolerance policy for unethical behavior.
4. It is strongly advised that Candidates take the examination with utmost solemnity and ensure that all the instructions are strictly followed.
5. IMU reserves the right to disqualify any candidate who is found to be indulging in any kind of malpractice.
6. In case you get disconnected from exam for any reason, you have to wait for 2 minutes for login again. System will allow you to log in after 2 Minutes
Only.
7. Don’t panic your last answer response is saved.
8. The Camera and microphone should not to be covered with any article during the entire duration, it will be recorded as violations and Remote proctor can
suspend the exam.
9. Proctor can ask to rotate the camera to get 3600 view anytime.
10. Please ensure to have a strong network connection with power backup supply to Desktop/Laptop for the smooth Examination process.
11. You are requested to keep attention on chat window (with proctor/ invigilator) provided in exam screen.
12. Once you click and confirm “End Exam”, you will not be able to resume again hence ensure that you had completed and answered the questions as
mentioned in exam instruction page.
13. Too much movement of face and eye gazes away from the Computer Screen / Camera, looking right and left, up and down, speaking to somebody or
somebody else talking near the candidate, etc., will be recorded as suspect actions and violations by the AI Software and Remote Human Proctor will be
alerted of these violations.
14. The Remote Human Proctors may warn the candidates when these suspect actions are noticed. The Remote Human Proctors can also suspend the
examination of a candidate if repeated violations and suspect actions are noticed with or without warning.
15. The Artificial Intelligence software will be continuously monitoring and recording the suspect actions and violations.
16. The software will analyse all the actions and give a Fairness Score of the Candidate to the Examination Authority at the end of the exam. The candidates
with suspect scores will be debarred for admission.
The candidates are expected to behave in the most exam-appropriate fashion to avoid disqualification.
