How Baklava Is Made


Ingredients:
100 grams of butter
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 teacup of milk
1 egg
2 spoons of vinegar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 spoons of yogurt
1 teacup of water
4 water cups of flour
For the sherbet
2,5 water cups of granulated sugar
3 cups of water
1/4 lemon juice
250 grams of butter
First, mix oil, milk, vinegar, salt,
yogurt, water, and the egg in a
deep bowl. Knead the mixture
while slowly adding flour. Cut the
dough into 24 equal pieces.
Sprinkle some flour on the table
and open the dough to the size of a
plate.
Then put some flour on the dough
pieces and put some of them on
top of each other. Go over them
with a rolling pin so that they are
the size of a tray.
Then take apart the dough pieces
and put them on an oily tray. Put
some liquidated butter on them
and start putting them on top of
each other. You can put pistachio in
between the layers.
Cut the resulting dough into
baklava-sized pieces. After cooking
it for 35 minutes at 180C pour the
sherbet on it. Your baklava is now
ready to be served after cooling
down
