Computer are designed to make
peoples lives easier by assisting them
in their varied tasks.
Computer peripheral
technically speaking, is any device
that connects to the computer unit
but is not part of the core architecture
of the computer unit.
Core computer unit
consists of the central processing unit
(CPU), motherboard, and power
supply. The case that surrounds these
elements are also considered part of
the core computer unit.

• INPUT DEVICES
• OUTPUT DEVICES
• STORAGE DEVICES
Input Devices
• Are devices that send information
to the computer.
Example:
Keyboard, mouse, web camera and
scanner
Output Devices
• Is any hardware devices that sent data
into computer to another devices or
user.
Example:
Monitor, Printer, Speaker and Headphones
Storage Devices
• Is any type of computer hardware
that is used for storing, porting or
extracting data files and objects.
Example:
HDD or SSD, CD or DVD, Flash Drive
and SD Card.
Software
• is a set of instructions, data or
programs used to operate
computers and execute specific
tasks. The two main categories of
software are application software
and system software.
System software
• is designed to run a computer's
hardware and provides a platform
for applications to run on top of.
Other types of software include
programming software, which
provides the programming tools
software developers need;
middleware, which sits between
system software and applications;
and driver software, which operates
computer devices and peripherals.
Application Software
• A software that fulfills a specific
need or performs tasks.
