What is suicide?

Suicide is a death
caused by injuring
oneself with the
intent to die. 
For example, people who
have experienced violence,
including child abuse,
bullying, or sexual violence
have a higher suicide risk.

WHAT IS PARASUICIDE?
A form of self-harm in which
someone mimics the act of
suicide without the intent to kill
themselves. Typically the person
is aware that his/her behaviour
may result in serious injury, but
is not life threatening.
