 Requirements
 The list of important RV’s contains more than
those given in the class. Read more about this
point.
 Present a report about THREE important RV’s
that are not given in the class. For each RV,
present:
 PDF & CDF
 Relation to other important RV’s
 Specific areas of applications
 A code (tested with a set sample runs) to generate
(i.e., simulate) these RVs starting form the uniform RV.

• Successfully completed assignments will be
given a bonus of TWO marks.
• Don’t submit your work by e-mail. Print your
code with sample runs and submit it to your
instructor after the lecture or during the office
hours.
• Your work should be submitted before
Wednesday 17/4/2016.
