What is Zodiac Constellation?
Every Three months, the earth travels
about one-fourth around its orbit. Thus,
for each season, the earth is exposed to
different constellations. A different zodiac
constellations also appear every month.The
word zodiac means“circle of animals” in
Greek word There are really 13 equatorial
patterns in astronomy.They have been used
as astrological signs which have 12 signs
that actually match the celestial
constellations.
What is The origin of the
Aries? Aries, (Latin: “Ram”) in astronomy,
zodiacal constellation in the northern sky lying
between Pisces and Taurus, at about 3
hours right ascension and 20° north declination
In astrology, Aries is the first sign of
the zodiac, considered as governing the period
from about March 21 to about April 19. Its
representation as a ram is identified with the
Egyptian god Amon and, in Greek mythology,
with the ram with the golden fleece, on the
back of which Phrixus, the son of King
Athamas, safely fled Thessaly to Colchis, where
he sacrificed the ram to Zeus, who placed it in
the heavens as the constellation . 
 In ancient Babylon, the Aries star
constellation was already known
by the name CHUN-GA, or Aries.
Also, the Persians, the ancient
Egyptians, and the Minoans called
it ‘Aries’ in their national
languages. Ultimately, by way of
Greece, the constellation came to
Rome, where astronomers gave it
the Latin name ‘Aries’
In ancient Egypt, Aries was
closely associated with the god
Amon-Ra, who was portrayed
as a man with a ram's head,
which was a symbol of
creativity and fertility, and
that’s why worshipped by each
agrarian worker.
History and mythology of Aries
There are several mythological
narratives concerning Aries that
were handed down from
antiquity. One of these legends
attributes the name of the
constellation to Zeus, who
turned into a ram while fleeing
the overpowering Titans
Roman writer Hygenius describes how
Bacchus, the god of wine, together with
his cheerful entourage, unexpectedly lost
his way in the vastness of the Libyan
Desert. In this dry wasteland, they
were soon plagued by terrible thirst.
Fortunately, they met a friendly ram
that led Bacchus and his party of
revelers to a source of water,
consequently saving them from certain
death. In gratitude, Bacchus elevated
the ram to the heavens.
The Legend of Aries
In the greek tradition aries represent the legend of the golden
fleece .According to the myth the King Atomist had two children with the
goddess Nephele Phrixus and Helle, Their marriage was great for a few
years but eventually Athamas became enamored with another pretty young
thing, Ino . The daughter of Cadmus who was the first ever Greek
hero .This led . to Nephele abandoning her family in anger and because she
was the deity of the clouds, a drought fell upon the land, Athamas send
some messengers to speak with an oracle about what can be done to
remedy the situation,but what he didn’t know is that his new wife was
the jealous type and want to get rid of her new stepchildren . Ino ended
up bribing to the messengers to tell the king he had to sacrifice his kids
to the Gods to end the drought and he was willing to, in order to to
save the Kingdom . He brought them into the mountaintop where he
planned on slitting their throats and burning their bodies on a fire, but
they were rescued in the nick of time so Nephele doesn’t want to let this
crazy thing to her children so she sent the Chrysomallus a flying golden
ram for their aid . 
The Legend of Aries
Just Phrixus and Helle were about to have their throats cut .  The flying ram
appeared, told them to climb aboard and flew off towards a distant kingdom
where their psycho step mom could never hurt them again . Though it wasn’t
necessarily a smooth ride while Phrixus was busy having time of his life, flying
over the mountain
 . and open water, his sister lost its grip and fell into the sea
where she drowned . Naturally this caused Phrixus to freak out and have to be
calm down . 
It reassured him that if he held tight they would to their destination safely and
a while later they landed in Colchis .  In some tellings Phrixus sacrifice the ram to
the Gods after shearing its golden fleece and in others the ram was immortal so
which has shed its fleece on its own and flew into the sky Nephele was eternally
grateful to the creature despite her losing one of her children so to honor him
she placed him in the stars is the constellation, Aries .  And the fleece was given
to the King of Colchis for safekeeping by Phrixus and one day the famous hero
Jason would seek it out with the help of the Argonauts .
