 Biography:-

Our main motive for selecting this project is to deliver message or information without
any delay unlike the traditional notice boards. The Blind people may not be able to get
information or the message sent by the organizer or sender. Keeping this as main
problem we designed this project to help the needy.

 Abstract:-
In order to inform the public of any updates in a timely manner, notice boards are essential
in all public spaces and organizations. The notice board may quickly be updated if it is set
up in an efficient manner because technology is developing daily. So, in order to address
the problems with the traditional handwritten notice board display, we designed and
implemented a wireless noticeboard that uses Bluetooth. The system is implemented using
Arduino, Bluetooth, LCD.

The Bluetooth receives the message, transmits to Arduino to validate the SMS and then the
message is displayed on the LCD display. This will help us in passing the message soon and
there is no delay. This wireless LCD display shows information sent from a smartphone. The
user can send text messages with up to any number of characters depending upon to the
LCD within Bluetooth range of about 10 meters. The TTS(Text To Speech) System which is
implemented reads out the message and this helps the physically disabled(especially blind)
to know about the message.

There are numerous methods to expand and execute this project for:
1. Educational institutions (schools and colleges): To notify of vital information or schedule
modifications
2. Hospitals: To provide the name and department of a doctor
3. To alert the cooking workers in restaurants
4. Offices – To advise employees of the boss's position (busy, available, out of the office,
etc.)

 Description:-
Taking a school example when the principal wants to deliver any information he or
she need not go to the class and announce instead they can send the message
through Bluetooth and that is displayed on the LCD ( Liquid Crystal Display). The TTS
(Text To Speech System)sensor which we used here reads out the message which
helps the blind to know the information sent by the sender.
Text to speech can be a useful tool for a variety of people. People with vision loss
can access the information with text to speech. Anyone who prefers to listen to text,
whether it’s in an effort to avoid eyestrain or improve workflow this can be used.

 Conclusion:

The aim of this project is to design a novel smart notice board to which data can be
sent through SMS. The main modules employed in this system are ARDUINO NANO,
Bluetooth, LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), TTS(Text To Speech). The SMS sent from mobile
phone to Arduino Uno is received by Bluetooth. The microcontroller retrieves the
stored message and displays it on a LCD display using embedded C- programming
language. Arduino Uno is used to control the display board and to convey the
information via a message sent from authenticated user. The conveyed message is read
Aloud by TTS(Text To Speech).This design can be used in various places like railways,
colleges,schools etc. This system can avoid paper work, reduce human efforts in
different areas.
