BEFORE STARTING, LET’S PRACTICE SOME


QUESTIONS.
DISCUSSION TIME!

● ARE YOU THE SORT OF PERSON WHO IS ABLE TO SEE THINGS THROUGH? WHY?
● WHAT IS THE MOST DIFFICULT THING YOU HAVE EVER MANAGED TO CARRY OFF?
● WHAT LED UP TO YOUR DECISION TO STUDY ENGLISH?
● IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO VOUCH FOR PEOPLE SO THAT THEY GET THEIR JOB? WHY?
● IF YOU COULD DEVOTE MORE TIME TO ANYTHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE? WHY?
● Imagine you are the person in charge of organizing an event in your work. Think of a
way (questions) of inviting people. Try to use “would”.
● Now, think that you are offering your services to a well-known hospital. But you
don’t know if they want it or not. Think of a way of asking that try to use “may”.
● Imagine you are new in your job think of questions to ask your supervisor (you can
try to use can and could).
