a part of your sexuality. Sexuality
is diverse and personal, and it is
an important part of who you are.

behaviors and beliefs that occur in a

between urban, rural, and global
geographical and cultural settings. It is an
uneven discourse in which urbanites and

and “primitive” villages or
“traditionalists.”

Human sexuality is a very dynamic topic
that encompasses how we perceive, behave, and
act or do not act sexually, all of which are
susceptible to change over time in relation to our
physical bodies as they age, as well as the
political economy and culture in which we live and
interact with others. Nature interacts with nurture
such as childhood socialization, society, and
legislation in unpredictable and often basic ways.
Scholars frequently use the word “sexuality” to
emphasize the contingent and changing diversity
of human sexual conduct, as well as the manner
in which sex is imagined in connection to larger
worlds, both seen and unseen.
