formed from the experiences of the
People with Jesus to the Gospel written by

The Gospel came from the Anglo Saxon word “god
spell” means good tidings and it tells the life and
ministry of Jesus
It has 3 stages: Life and Teachings of Jesus, Oral
Tradition and Written Gospel
The Evangelist are the ones who recorded the life and
teachings of Jesus based on the experiences or what
they have heard.
There were 4 evangelist: Luke, Mark, John and
Matthew
RELIGIOUS VALUES INTEGRATION:

“Instruct me, Lord, and

command what Your will. But
first heal me and open my ears
that I may hear Your words.”

St. Augustine, Solloquies 1,1

RELIGIOUS VALUES INTEGRATION:

As the Gospel was formed, the Evangelist did not write
the Gospels alone but it is through the guidance of
God who made them inspire to write the Gospel. As we
read the Gospel, we did not read the Gospel as words
written there but to understand it, let us open our eyes
and ears to God as we read the Gospel.
