Topic: Should Vaccinations be Mandatory During an
Epidemic or Pandemic
Teacher’s Name : Dr. Adri Sarit
Semester: Spring 2023
Academic Institute: The Max Stern Yezreel Valley
College
Introduction
Vaccination is a cheap means of dealing with infectious
diseases (Radosevi & Rodriguez, 2009).

The WHO recommends that at-risk populations get vaccinated

to prevent serious illness (Gualano & Corradi, 2021).
The Controversy
An expanded vaccination program shows that vaccines can reduce
mortality and morbidity (Radosevi & Rodriguez, 2009), But on the
other hand, a systematic vaccination policy will harm the right of
the person to decide about his body (Gualano & Corradi, 2021).
Pros
A mandatory school
vaccination policy
can ensure high
vaccination rates and
a reduction in disease
(Paquette, 2021).
Pros
Free vaccinations are
essential and encourage
vaccination even in the
poor (Gualano &
Corradi, 2021).
Cons
Parents of students sometimes oppose vaccinations
for fear of the safety of the vaccine and its effect on
their child (Paquette, 2021).
Cons
Some beliefs hold
that there is a
connection between
vaccines and the
development of
autism (Paquette,
2021).
My Opinion

Diana: I am in favor Vaccinations be Mandatory During an

Epidemic or Pandemic.

Amit: I am in against Vaccinations be Mandatory During an

Epidemic or Pandemic.
