The
 cultural communities in Luzon,
such as the Gaddang of Nueva
Viscaya, the Ifugao, and the Kalinga of
Northern Luzon, have their own pieces
that they can be proud of.
Their designs are made up of different lines,
colors, and shapes.
Different types of lines used:
a.Horizontal Line
b.Curved Line
c.Slant Line
Vertical Line

The colors that are usually used:


a.Red
b.Yellow
c.Green
d.Black
Different shapes that can be seen in their patterns
are:
a.Triangle
b.Square
c.Rectangle

Their designs are inspired from their nature or by


their environment.
Ifugao Tribe
● Some of their designs are Sun, Thunder, Fish, Snake,
Lizard, Tree and Human.

● The accessories in their body show their
status in their community.

● They usually used the colors red, yellow,


green, and black.
Gaddang Tribe
● They are known for weaving fabrics. They
use plastic beads and stones in weaving.
Some of their products are bakwat (belt),
aken (skirt), and abag (G-string), which
are made of expensive stone.

The cultural designs of the Luzon community are


part of the art heritage of our country. 
Compare and contrast. Identify the similarities and differences between the
patterns of Ifugao Tribe, Kalinga Tribe, and Gaddang Tribe.
