TEAMWORK ON EMPLOYEE
PERFORMANCE AT RELIANCE
JIO INFOCOMM LIMITED,
CHENNAI

CONCEPTUAL DESCRIPTION ON TITLE

 The various studies have examined the impact of teamwork on employee performance and they are
determined the factors in employee performance.
 The study was conducted to establish the impact of teamwork on employee performance in
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
 Teamwork is the interdependent components of performance required to effectively coordinate the
performance of multiple individual; as such, teamwork is the broader concept of team performance
which also includes individual-level task work.
 In this research study, To find out the major impact of the teamwork at Reliance Jio. In the basis of
the coordination, satisfaction, factors related towards teamwork, individual performance and
company profit level. How much the employee performance reflected on the company in the basis
of the teamwork with the help of responses from the employee.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

 To find out the satisfaction level of employee towards teamwork


at Reliance Jio.
 To assess the relationship between employee teamwork and
individual performance of Reliance Jio.
 To identify the most affecting factor in teamwork employee
performance at Reliance Jio.
TEST VARIABLES

 The variables identified from this study explains the relations of the independent
variable and dependent variable.
 The dependent variable of the study is relationship, factors related towards teamwork
and satisfaction and the independent variable is employee’s teamwork performance.
 It is the process of finding the impact of employee performance on the basis of
teamwork, how much the employee satisfied with their teamwork.
 The relationship between the teamwork performance and the individual performance
was combined together for their company to ensure their aims and objectives.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
 SOURCE OF DATA:
Primary data is data that is collected by a researcher from first-hand sources, using methods like surveys,
interviews, or experiments. It is collected with the research project in mind, directly from primary sources.
Secondary data is the data that has already been collected through primary sources. It is obtained from the
articles, previous collected data internet etc.

 SAMPLING ELEMENT:
The respondents of this study are employee of the organization.

 SAMPLING TECHCNIQUE:
Convenience Sampling was applied to choose respondents among employees based on their ability and
willingness to answer the questionnaire. Questionnaire was the main instrument used to collect data for the study.
The self-structured questionnaire is used for this study.

 ANALYTICAL TOOLS USED:

 The Kruskal Wallis H-Test
 The Chi-Square Test
 The Spearmen Correlation

FINDINGS
 Gender’s result shows that the majority of the sample(n=63)  (61.9%) of the respondents agree that the teamwork
are male. (70%) of the employee are male. The company play a significant role to improve company

 The hypothesis related to Objective1 of “To find out the satisfaction level of employee towards teamwork at
Reliance Jio”. Here the Kruskal-Wallis H-test is used. The result shows that the null hypothesis is accepted and
therefore, it can be inferred that the age and work experience have no significant difference for satisfaction of
teamwork in their organization.
 Then another hypothesis related to Objective2 of " To assess the relationship between employee teamwork and
individual performance of Reliance Jio”. Here the Spearmen Correlation is used. The result shows that the
moderate and positive relationship between teamwork performance and individual performance.
 Then another hypothesis related to Objective3 of " To identify the most affecting factor in teamwork employee
performance”. Here the Chi-square test is used. The result shows that the null hypothesis is accepted and
therefore, it can be inferred that the gender has no significant difference for factor affecting teamwork in their
organization.

CONCLUSIONS

The research study revealed that teamwork has a significant and positive impact on
the performance of employee in Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited. The result of the test
show that there is a significantly positive and moderate relationship between the
teamwork employee performance and individual employee performance. Team was
found to have positive and significant impact on employee performance and this brings
benefits in terms of better organizational performance and competitive advantages.
When an employee is in a team, his or her performance is automatically improved and
invariably, Teamwork satisfaction is also enhanced and Team trust and communication
factor are affecting the employee teamwork.
