Software Installation:
1.Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel
2.Click the Foxboro I/A icon to open the Startup Options For Reboot dialog box
3.Select Autologon in the I/A Series Off group, and click OK.

4.Choose Foxboro API in the Control Panel to open the FoxAPI Control dialog box
5. Click Stop FoxAPI.
6.Uncheck Tick radio button to start FOXAPI at reboot and click OK
7. Reboot the station.
Software Installation:
1.Choose AIM *AT in the Control Panel to open the AIM AT Control dialog box
2. Go to AIM*API TAB Click on Stop AIM* AT API.
3.Uncheck Tick radio button of start AIM API at reboot and click OK
4. Go to AIM*Historian Tab Click Stop Historian Application
5. Reboot the station.

Software Installation:
1.Choose Start > Control Panel >Administrative Tools>Services.
2. Click on Nutcracker service - Change the startup type to Automatic and click APPLY and then start
the service and select ‘OK’
Software Installation:
1.Put the AIM AT CD in the CD drive and Browse.
2. Choose the “Win>Setup.exe “Click on
3.AIM AT V3.3 Windows will popup,
4. On “These Services are possibly Running windows ”Click on “Yes”
5. On “ Welcome to the Installed Shield Wizard For AIM*AT Suite 3.3” windows, Click on “Next”
6. On “Licenses Agreement” windows Click on “Yes”

1.On “AIM*AT Client Directory” Windows Click “Next”
2. On “Select Feature” windows Tick as per the Snap if Historian installed on the station Do not tick.
3.On “component Selected” windows click “Next”

1.On “AIM*AT Suite Server Directory” Windows Click “Next”
2. On “Aim*At Server Name Query” Windows Station Name will Appear.
3.If correct then On “Verify AIM AT Server Name” windows “ Click “Yes”

1.On “Matricon Licensees Agreement” Windows Click “Yes”
2. On “Select Feature” Tick the module as per the snap.
3.Then click “Next”

1.On “Operational Mode” Windows Click on the radio Button as per the Project requirement
2.Select “OPC DA Only Server” or “ Combined OPC DA and HAD Server” as per the project requirement.
3.As per the selection required the Authorization in code in API Admin
3. On “Server Mode” windows Tick the check box then Click “Next”.
4.On “Service Mode” windows Tick the check box then Click “Next”.

1.On “Install Shield Wizard Complete ” Windows Click “Finish”
2. On “Installed complete” windows click on “Yes” or “No” as per requirement for reboot

Configuration API ADMIN:
1.Before Start the API Admin Set Up. Install the Quick Fixes
2.Choose Start > program > Aim At> Api Admin
3.Click on Edit the Server Connection Details.
4.Put the All Information and click on Accept.
5.Select the Server Name by Drop Down button.
Configuration API ADMIN:
1.Enter the “gnomes” in the password windows
2.Retype the password
Configuration API ADMIN:
1 Go to Authorization TAB
2.Select “Aim*OPC DA &HAD” Server or “AIM*OPC Data Access Server” Put the Authorization Code
select the as per the installation.
3.Goto User Name TAB
4.Enter the Name of station Client PC Name click Add

2.Select the package as per Authorization Code given in Previous slide
3.Tick on Package as per the Snap for all user i.e. Station, Fox, Administrator and Client

1. Go to “start” Click on “Run” Type “regedit”
2. By “Control F” command Find the “AIM.OPC”
3. Right Click on “AIM OPC” and select “Export Registry File” Save to desk top.
4. This file is required by Client station give it customer for there client setup

1.Choose Start > Programs > Aim AT> Matrikon OPC Explorer.
2. Double click on “AIM.OPC.1” It shows red cross it means it is connected ,Status is showing “Running”
