BACKGROUND OF THE
STUDY
Mosquitoes act as vector for most of the life-
threatening diseases like malaria, yellow fever, dengue
fever, chikungunya fever, filariasis encephalitis, as well
as the . We can’t deny the fact that it is still one of the
existing problems we face in a community especially
now that it is rainy season. This led to us researchers
to find an alternative insecticide specially synergized
plants like onion, garlic, lemon grass, and mint extracts
to fight mosquitoes.

Treatment 5: Commercialized insecticidal potential
Insecticide of the plant extracts
against mosquitoes.
OBJECTIVES
GENERAL
To prove that onion, garlic, lemon grass,
and mint extracts can be used as an
alternative insecticide against mosquitoes.
OBJECTIVES

SPECIFIC
• To provide an alternative insecticide that is
home made and much safer to use than buying
insecticides.
• To lessen the rapid increase of mosquitoes in
the community.
• To minimize illness caused by these insects.
