Managing Your Health
During Home Recovery

 During home recovery period, your health

will be monitored using HER-SYS, a health
management system developed by the
Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare.
HER-SYS records health conditions such as
body temperature and blood oxygen level
(SPO2) twice a day, and the Support Center
will take immediate action if any
abnormalities are found in your physical
condition.

3
Managing Your Health
During Home Recovery

 HER-SYS requires you to record your

own health condition twice a day. This
can be done on your smartphone.

 At 9:00 a.m. every day during

your home recovery period, you
will receive an SMS with a URL
for you to input your health
condition.

 For details on how to register and use the system, please refer to the
Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare’s guide at the URL below.

day after the onset of symptoms is considered as
Day 1)

2. You are not taking any medication and the

3. At least three days have passed since the

From Home Recovery

When Taking Medication

 If taking medication on days ⑦ to ⑩ as shown on
the previous page, please be sure to take your
temperature before taking the medication.

 In deciding when to discharge from recovery, it

is very important to determine whether your
fever was lowered by your own immunity or
by the effect of the medication.

Some medications other than antipyretics, such

as painkillers, may also have antipyretic
effects. If you take these medications without
checking your temperature on days ⑦ to ⑩, it
may not be possible to make a correct
judgment and the days of your recovery may be
9
extended.
