. Expectant management (Macaffee regimen) is
given i.e pt is admitted till bleeding stops . Inj
betamethasone (12mg i.m for 2 doses,24 hrs
apart) is given, to hasten lung maturity.blood is
crossmatched and kept ready just week.
Tocolytics are given for 48 hrs. Anti D is given, if
female is RH-negative.
. This regime shoulf be continued for 37 wks but if
anytime during expectant management pt
bleeds, pregnancy should be reterminated
immediately.
