The servant who had received the two talents also came
and said, ‘Master, you entrusted me with two talents. See,
I have gained two more.’ His master replied, ‘Well
done, good and faithful servant! You have
been faithful with a few things; I will put you in
charge of many things. Enter
Into the joy of your master!’

permit me first to go and bury my father.” But He said to
him, “Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you,
go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.” Another
also said, “I will follow You, Lord; but first permit me to say
goodbye to those at my home.” But Jesus said to him, “No
one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit
for the kingdom of God.”

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their
authority, because they keep watch over you as
those who must give an account. Do this so that
their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would
be of no benefit to you.
