Workforce Segmentation-Objective
• The objective of this project is to split the workforce into logical and
practical segments to allow for deeper workforce analysis, allowing
organization to identify and group the requisite skills and capabilities
it has and needed to deliver its business priorities.
• To identify inefficiencies and develop talent in the right direction of
career pathways and succession planning
Methodology
• This project is based on existing data.
• For “Diversity based segmentation”, HRMS data has been collected
from an MFI organization and for “Talent based segmentation”, a PMS
data taken from a random organization
• Diversity based segmentation done on field employees of MFI.
• Data Analysis and interpretation- The data is prepared in excel and
analyzed using graphical tools like bar chart, pie chart, scatter diagram
