What are feelings? it refers both to a state of mind and also to a


conceptualized emotion that determines the state of mind.

How was your vacation?

In July, I went to Santander with some Spanish friends. I stayed at my friend’s house in
the center of Santander, and had a great time. For me, the most exciting part was that my
friend’s mother made cocido montañés, one of my favorite foods.

We also did some nice walks in the towns around Santander. I love walking out to the
lighthouse on “Cabo Mayor” and taking the boat across the bay to the towns of Somo and
Pedreña.

In the end, I got a bit sunburned at the beach, but otherwise enjoyed the cool weather, the
food and the beautiful landscapes.
