Presented by: Muhammad Awais

Ear Candling
• Ear Candling also known as Thermo Auricular
Therapy is the use of Hollow Ear Candles to
clean your ears and give you a pleasing and
relaxing experience.

• It helps in sharpening hearing skills and has

reportedly been beneficial for your vision,
taste and perception as well.

• These are specialized candles made up of

cotton or linen coated in beeswax, herbs and
honey.
Ear Candling Origin
• Although Biosun, a manufacturer of ear
candles, refers to them as "Hopi" ear candles.

• Ear candling is not a traditional Hopi healing

practice, and the Hopi tribe has repeatedly
asked Biosun to stop using the Hopi name.

• Advocates of ear candles claim it originates

from Chinese, Egyptian, or North American
medicine, and the mythical city of Atlantis.
Ear Candling Procedure
• Lie down on your side, with your head
supported by a pillow.

• Insert the small end of the candle gently into

your ear canal. Make sure the candle is snugly
fitted and secure.

• Light the top end of the candle with a lighter or

match, and hold it steady while the candle burns
down to a certain point.

• After a few minutes, the candle will burn down

to a certain point and will be removed.

• Repeat the process on the other ear.
