Basic Tools Required for ChE 258
1. Drawing Board & T-square
2. Set of triangels
3. Mathematical Set (Compass, Pair of Dividers,
Protractor, 30o & 45o Set squares, etc.)
4. Erasers
5. Sharpners
6. Pencils (2H, HB, 2B) etc.
7. French Curves
8. Papers – Varieties including A4, A3, A2, A1 & A0
Choice is determined by:
i) Scale chosen by the Drawer
ii) Image to be drawn
ChE 258 Practical Sessions
1. Student group will be given a unit to draw
2. Free hand sketch(es) of the final product(s) to be done in
each students’ book
3. Group discussion to generate a single output
4. Group to determine:
a) Scale to be used = > Magnification or Reduction
b) Number of units
c) Size of paper to be used (Next Slide)
5. Begin the drawing to be done in accordance with the given
instructions.
6. Complete and submit the output by complying with
the deadline.
