41 starred hotels in Goa, including 23 five and five star deluxe hotels;
•
Smallest state in India having 11% of total 5 star and 5 star deluxe hotels in India;
•
Supply of rooms grew 11.4% over FY 07-13; while demand grew at 14.8%;
•
Occupancy stood at 70% in 2013-14, with a 6.8% increase over 2009-10; Only city/state in
Accommodation India with increasing occupancy over the last 5 years
Sector • Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) in FY 13 was 4.7 % higher than in FY 12.
