Fungsi keluarga sebagai suatu lembaga sosial
terdiri atas berbagai macam. Sejumlah fungsi
keluarga ialah: reproduksi; sosialisasi;
ekonomi; proteksi, afeksi, pemberian status
sosial, kontrol. Dalam studi sosiologi, lembaga
sosial sebenarnya tidak dipahami sebagai
sebuah organisasi dalam kehidupan
masyarakat.

sebagai penentu, agama menciptakan suatu
ikatan bersama, baik di antara anggota-
